Job Summary
The goals for the role of the PMO Administrator are to reduce the administrative overhead on the Project Managers while ensuring we are delivering in accordance with the makepositive project methodology. The PMO Analyst needs the ability to manage data, being brilliant with the basic tool, MS Excel as well as with numbers. They need to be interpreters who can use historical data to help predict the future with some degree of accuracy. The Analyst is expected to use their own knowledge and experience of delivery to forewarn on potential risks and conflicts. They need to have experience of being great facilitators in workshop sessions like planning development or risk workshops, having an agnostic view of the project and remaining independent during these sessions. Key Responsibilities

Being the ambassador of the MP project delivery methodology (PDM), the PMO analyst will implement the MP PDM across a portfolio of circa 5 projects, reporting to Project Manager and Head of PMO, being responsible for:
  • Project artefact preparation and update
  • Project librarian and administration
  • Development and update of financial tracker in line with PM expectations
  • Produce project status updates and maintain project delivery plan in line with PM expectations
  • Project JIRA/ Confluence administration
  • Arrange project meetings/ distribute communications
  • Administrative closedown of project
  • Help with Process Improvement and Standards Development

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
  • Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions
  • Previous PMO experience in software delivery environment
  • Advanced JIRA/ Confluence administration
  • Willing to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Desired Capabilities
  • PRINCE2 with Agile certified
  • Knowledge of salesforce
  • Smartsheets, other Project Management Tools
