Job Summary

Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) funded project entitled Development of Terahertz Metagratings for detection of ultra-small deep subwavelength dimension particles , under the supervision of Prof. Dibakar Roy Chowdhury (PI) and Prof. S S Prabhu (PC, TIFR). Deserving JRF may be considered for Ph.D. if she/he can perform well.

Experience:

Title of the Project:Development of Terahertz Meta gratings for detection of ultra-small deep subwavelength dimension particles.

Eligibility:

Essential Qualifications: MSc in Physics or M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Solid background in Electromagnetism/optics highly desirable.

Candidates with UGC NET JRF / DST-Inspire/ CSIR JRF will be given preference.

Fellowship: 25,000 per month (+ fooding and lodging)

Duration:Initially for 1 year (extendable based on the performance)
