Job Summary

Job Introduction The "Software Quality Manager (Process, Methods and Tools)" is responsible for the processes, methods and tools necessary to develop an advanced E/E Architecture. Major Responsibilities Define and continously improve a harmonized set of processes to develop advanced E/E Architectures Define and continously improve the necessary toolset to develop advanced E/E Architectures Create a harmonized collaboration approach for E/E Architecture across Magna. Define and create a common, compliant and coherent language used in Magnas E/E Architecure Define and introduce a Magna wide harmonized SW toolchain Define and introduce a Magna wide harmonized toolchain for functional HW development. Harmonize job descriptions Support the creation of training programs and courses for each standard Implement a feedback loop to improve standards for future projects Support existing standards, tools and job descriptions to create a best practice set of standards and communicate and train these within the group "Leading the Team Program Quality with the functions System, Hardware, Mechanic, Software and Software Supplier Quality Supporting and Guiding the Quality Engineers / APQP Engineer of the Divisions in development programs Ensures that the Magna process, Customer specific requirements are used in development programs Determines/describes project quality strategy for Product Development in conjunction with Project Management " "Administration and operation of Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools preferrably IBM Jazz Adaptation and expansion of the ELM process configuration as the basis for a global agile engineering team Roll-out of new process configurations in ELM Organize & coordinate overarching tasks with the IT and other stakeholders to ensure technical availability, enhancement, maintenance and interaction with other tools and ELM tool." Knowledge and Education Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or automotive engineering Expertise in relevant process management (e.g. Agile) Knowledge of relevant standards including coding standards( e.g. Automotive SPICE, APQP, ISO 26262 ) Knowledge of Automotive SW-Architectures like Autosar Classic and Autosar Adaptive Knowledge of Impact of OTA; Connectivities, RTOS Operating Systems, Posix Operating Systems Knowledge of Impacts of Functional Safety, Cyber Security, SPICE on Automotive SW engineering process Expertise in any Engineering Life Cycle Management tool (ELM) preferrably IBM Jazz Understanding of automotive industry standards including automotive communication protocols Good understanding of the Impact of defined processes on development toolchain including CI/CD pipeline Work Experience >10 years experience in the product development process in the automotive industry for complete vehicle functions, embedded software and electronic hardware >7 years of experience in managing (globally) distributed teams Experience in automotive SW and HW development preferred
