Unix Team Lead

Are you a Unix Server Engineer with automation and development skills?

The ideal characteristics you would possess include the following:

• Strong coding skills using any of these Ansible, Pearl, Python, Bash (Ansible is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Redhat operating systems
• Experience working with Puppet or Ansible Tower/AWX, Splunk, LDAP
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, integration test and Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to AWS
• Exposure to Solaris and VCS would be highly beneficial
• Experience working in a high-paced, ever-changing environment
• A passion for automation, self-service and creating ways to enable and empower our customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes, specifically in a global and dynamic business environment.
• Highly collaborative and driven to deliver outstanding solutions
• The ability to operate independently, to be proactive, and able to interact with stakeholders across all levels.

Non- technical Skills

• Lead a team of experienced UNIX resources.
• Manage the shift patterns along with On-call rotations.
• Provide career guidance and mentoring to junior resources.
• Have a vision to take the team forward.
• Manage stakeholders and provide a detailed level of reporting to senior management.
