Service Operations - Senior Associate Unix/sql Devops- Gurugram Job in Macquarie Group Limited

Job Description:

This opportunity will see you take ownership of operational issues and use your strong problem solving and analytical skills to implement both short-term resolutions and develop preventive measures for the longer term. Youll proactively be monitoring service levels to maintain the highest availability and performance of systems, while also responding to queries and issues reported by users. Utilising your development skills, youll get the opportunity to drive automation and improvements in your area.

To be successful in this role youll have relevant tertiary qualifications or work experience in computer science, engineering, information systems or financial technology. You have experience in UNIX, Shell scripting and Oracle, and possess strong SQL skills. You also bring an understanding of incident, change and problem management processes.

Youll have ability to work as an individual contributor as well as part of a larger team and you bring a proactive and flexible approach to your work. Youll embrace change and welcome opportunities to develop new skills and gain business exposure. Youll also take ownership and are able to plan and prioritise your own objectives and deliverables.

Experience with supporting vendor systems and using ticketing systems such as Confluence, JIRA, Remedy or similar will be an added advantage as well as experience with JasperSoft and Pentaho. Prior experience in a business facing role supporting middle and back office systems will also be highly regarded.

To ensure full coverage for our global business youll work assigned shifts on weekdays, as part of follow-the-sun support model, and also work rostered weekends as required.
