Fidessa Developer- Manager- Mumbai Job in Macquarie Group Limited

We are seeking an outstanding developer with a passion for product development to join our technology team aligned to Commodities and Global Markets Group (CGM). CGM is the global trading & hedging, financing and research operations within Macquarie and is a core business with strong Global foundations. This is a great opportunity for a developer with strong technical and communication skills to deliver in a challenging and dynamic environment.

In this position there will be a focus on project deliveries across a large range of applications supporting the business. Youll be part of a dynamic team that supports globally used applications.

In this role you will be working in Fidessa development team in Mumbai office and closely with the Macquarie Fidessa team (mainly located in HK and Sydney) to ensure the Fidessa trading platform runs on the latest product version which support Asian Cash Equity business across the Globe.

Business Responsibilities

• Perform product version upgrade and Fidessa Exchange gateway upgrade work on Fidessa trading platform
• Work with the Macquarie Fidessa development team and test teams both in- and outside Manila to support a number of ends to end test environments
• Deployment and maintenance of applications under test within test environments
• Maintain multiple Fidessa test environments to allow test activity to continue without delay or interruption.
• Resolve day to day system issues raised by business and Operation support teams
• Assist in the preparation of Fidessa deployment packages with the accompanying release and handover documents ahead of production deployment

Core Requirement Filters:

• 6+ years strong development experience on Fidessa trading technology on TOP, FTW and FDA modules in a high-pressure environment
• 2+ years experience on SQL programming
• Good understanding of FIX 4.x protocol
• A computer science degree, engineering degree, or equivalent
• Demonstrable knowledge on software configuration management and SVN
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client service orientation

Willing to work in different time zones and Flexibility to travel for training purposes (if required)

Other Desirable skills:

• Experience in Java programming and .NET technology
• Exposure to enterprise level business wide support services
