Job Summary

Working in a high performing team, you ll be responsible for ensuring taxation deliverables are met on time and to a high standard. In this role, you ll focus on direct tax compliances and the relevant accounting and reporting requirements.
Using your knowledge of direct tax requirements for India and your deep understanding of general tax requirements, you ll be responsible in the preparation, review and filing of direct tax returns, as well as liaising with internal stakeholders to manage submissions and responses to any queries. You ll also be responsible for working towards managing quarterly and annual tax accounting and compliance deadlines and will proactively recognise and manage any issues and risks. You ll also keep up to date with changes in tax laws, budget announcements and new transactions, and assess their implications on tax related deliverables.
You ll bring an innovative mindset and the ability to continually find opportunities to improve services, processes and systems. You ll also demonstrate effective communication skills working in a virtual, global team with the ability to manage cross-border relationships effectively.
To be successful in this role, you ll have a professional finance qualification CA with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in Indian direct tax compliance and accounting, tax reporting and financial systems. Previous taxation experience in the shared services or financial services industry will be considered favourably.
