Assistant Manager, Projects And Change (project Manager) Job in Macquarie Group Limited

As a project manager, your core responsibilities will include project management, coordinating, supporting solution design, development, functional testing and production of project artefacts. You are expected to work collaboratively with the finance function and enabling teams such as technology, systems operations and data & transformation.

You Possess a strong appreciation of key business drivers and an understanding of the impact of change upon the business

Youll have Proven experience as a project manager on change projects preferably in regulatory, Structural reforms and capital reporting

Youll be managing the FMG Pipeline of significant change initiatives, including budgets and ongoing control of projects

Youll be providing strong governance framework for projects across FMG, ensuring strategic alignment and a common understanding of the drivers and outcomes for success

Youll demonstrate resilience and effectively manage ambiguity related to the projects and managing multiple stakeholders and have focused and quality interactions view to drive decisions and mitigate project risks.

Youll be communicating regularly with the project manager and/or the work stream leads including providing accurate & timely status updates, roadblocks and areas of improvement.

Youll be providing accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and highlight risks/issues

Youll manage Working Groups meeting and plan/track deliverables with finance teams

Youll demonstrate the ability to work with Multiple finance teams and understanding business context to develop project plan/documents

Youll documenting testing approach, Go-live criteria & managing documentation as per prescribed project Management governance and required approvals process

Youll be working closely with the technology team to ensure build is in lines with expectation of the stakeholders.

Youll demonstrate working knowledge of data flows and linkages between different systems & teams

Youll demonstrate Effective presentation skills, Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills.

Youll demonstrate proactive approach to anticipating client needs, issues and challenges, and initiating solutions.

To be successful in this role you should have a tertiary qualification preferably CA, CMA, CS, or alternately, B. Com with CPA / ICWA/ MBA Overall post-qualification experience of around 6-10 years with about 4-6 years of relevant experience in project management in accounting, Structural reforms & regulatory projects in the Financial Services industry. You should have expertise to deliver system change projects and ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently. Preferred, At least one project management or quality certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification & Knowledge of different finance systems, databases and platforms

You should also have strong documentation skills with the ability to produce fit for purpose project artefacts in accordance with project governance.
