We are currently seeking a fulltime Drupal application developer who will collaborate with our internal teams to define, design and develop high quality Web-based solutions. Applications will be primarily developed using Drupal (Research, design, develop, test, debug, ensure proper operation, implement and support new features and components); however, a diverse range of experience in multiple technologies is also required (PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, jQuery).
The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies, be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines, and have the ability to work both independently and in a team, producing quality work products with attention to detail.
- 1-2 years of experience developing solutions with Drupal
- Understanding of Web development practices, the software development life cycle, and development in accordance with industry best practices and W3C standards
- Extensive familiarity with (X)HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and PHP
- Experience with Drupal theming and common module configuration (view,panels, etc.)
- Ability to stay on schedule and produce results in a timely manner
- Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes
- Self-starter able to ramp up quickly and work independently
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
- The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
