Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for for designing and building the piping systems that carry our water. You will be involved in every aspect of the creation of these piping systems. This includes drawing the blueprints for the system, and then assist in selecting the materials that will be used to build the pipes and accompanying components. Role consists of visiting the installation site of a piping system and surveying the land for any irregularities. Analyze these observations as a part of the process for creating system blueprints.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Creating the initial project scope for all of the tasks that need to be completed in order to install a piping system. Take into account cost, resources and the project deadline. Participate with decision makers in cost management meetings to ensure their designs reflect the parameters of the projects budget.

2. Identifying materials as necessary to create a piping system that withstands the elements. Assist the procurement team in sourcing the materials, and then ensuring these materials are used in the installation process.

3. Work closely with the Piping team and assist Engineering to follow up during all aspects of Piping (including valve and fitting/assembly).

4. Closely monitor the performance of the Contractor during Material receipt, storage, installation, preservation to ensure that each stage is carried out in accordance to Company requirements.

5. Manage and coordinate the group of Piping Field Engineer/Inspectors and ensure that the construction and installation is as per the design requirements and to the quality standard necessary for compliance with Company requirements.

6. Ensure that all Readiness for Piping construction activities on site are conducted in a timely manner in accordance with the Project schedule.

7. Interpret all codes and maintain overall performance of all piping activities.[ASME-ANSI B31.3./.4 &.5]-Process piping

8. Liaise with design department and prepare various concepts for piping designs and develop required mechanical drawings.
