Eligibility

Experience

You come from a background in computer science/information systems (or equivalent)

3+ years of experience architecting, implementing and supporting infrastructure and topologies with at least one of the major cloud platforms (i.e. Azure, GCP, Amazon).

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

You have a background in consulting, a deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem and strong desire to learn about emerging cloud technologies.

You have experience configuring, supporting and troubleshooting production applications or workloads in a cloud-based environment.

You have hands-on experience with the development and implementation of automation and DevOps principles. You have experience with encryption and key management principles, design patterns and a strong understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies).

You have strong analytical problem-solving and the ability to think about the clients desired outcome, dig deep and look at the big picture; not just the individual task at hand.

Good to have Skills

Experience working with server virtualization, IaaS, PaaS and cloud environments.

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, practices and tools

Experience with containerization, orchestration, monitoring and metric technologies

Robust knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Strong mentorship and presentation skills, comfortable working with clients

Proficiency in managing Linux and Windows systems

High attention to detail and the ability to solve complex challenges

Experience with deployment automation and orchestration

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

Ability to context-switch between multiple projects, codebases and concepts with ease

You will be working with enterprise applications utilizing multiple native cloud-based services and middleware that support the delivery of multi-tier web technologies.

You will be immersed in cloud platforms like Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud Platform and Azure.

You ll work with cloud supportive languages such as Node.js, Java, Go, Python, and more. You will build upon your experience with Serverless and containerization technologies (i.e. Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFoundry, etc.) to complement rapid deployment models.

You will work with infrastructure as code technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Cloud Formation, etc.
