Job Summary
An outstanding opportunity to work with a large-scale database of 70 million highly profiled users, distributed in 3 data centers in US, Ireland and Italy.
As a Senior MySQL Database Administrator, you must be highly organized and accurate, have excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic approach and willingness to tackle new and varied tasks.
- BS in Computer Science or an IT related discipline.
- Excellent command in English written and spoken
Desired Skills & Experience
At least 5 years experience as MySQL DBA Expertise in Replication techniques, backups and restores, performance tuning and query optimization Advanced Unix and SQL scripting skill Experience of using the Linux operating system and Apache web server Experience of application programming for automation of MySQL tasks Experience with large scale databases in Development/Test/Production environments. Experience with building highly-available and scalable systems. Experience of deploying database upgrades to live systems. Knowledge of database performance and resilience testing. Experience in developing unit test framework for database solutions.
