Job Summary Role Overview: As an SAP HANA Technical Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing SAP HANA solutions to meet strategic usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements for Reporting and Analytics processes. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including SAP S/4HANA 20 and BODS, while collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver SAP HANA solutions for Deloitte US Member Firms. Key Responsibilities: SAP HANA Solution Design & Development: Lead and assist in the design, development, and implementation of SAP HANA solutions to meet client needs, ensuring the solutions meet usability, performance, and security standards. Translate functional requirements into technical design documents and ensure proper implementation of complex data modeling, including Attributes views, Analytic views, Calculation views, and CDS Views. Develop and implement solutions to address client business KPIs, designing reporting layouts and integrating them with SAP BW on HANA and Embedded Analytics. Project Management & Team Coordination: Provide technical leadership to the team, assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution during development and implementation. Perform effort estimation for various implementation and enhancement activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Subject Matter Experts, Quality Assurance, and Training teams to ensure the success of system enhancements and fixes. System Enhancement & Continuous Improvement: Support system enhancement efforts and provide technical guidance to ensure effective delivery of SAP HANA solutions. Participate in continuous improvement processes to optimize the implementation and delivery of HANA solutions. Maintain internal documentation and end-user training materials, adhering to best practices and standards across all projects. Technical Skills & Programming: Work extensively with SAP HANA, BODS, and other technologies, ensuring adherence to performance and scalability standards. Perform SAP HANA and BODS programming, troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing performance. Utilize tools like SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, HANA Studio, and Git Source Code Version Control to manage and monitor project development. Experience with XSOData, XSA, MTA, and FioriUI5 is a plus. Collaboration & Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals and understanding of the latest developments in their environment. Communicate complex technical topics in clear, non-technical terms to clients and stakeholders. Assist with SAP BW Transports, HANA Transports, and ChaRM when required. Required Qualifications: SAP HANA Expertise: Extensive experience in HANA 20 complex data modeling including the creation of Information Models (Attributes Views, Analytic Views, Calculation Views) and CDS Views. Strong hands-on experience with SAP BI Information Modeling, HANA SQL Script, Table Functions, SQL Procedures, and CDS AMDP. Expertise in BW on HANA, Native HANA, and S4HANA with Embedded Analytics. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, HANA Studio, Git Source Code Version Control. Experience with XSOData, XSA, MTA, and FioriUI5 is desirable. Proficient in SQL Script, Performance Analysis, and debugging complex applications. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach. Nice to Have: Understanding of FI tables, transactions, and processes involved in FICO modules. Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
