Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include -

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in Android app development
• Candidate must be proficient in using Eclipse and Android Studio
• Knowledge of Kotlin will be an addon
• Deep expertise in Java for Android
• Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Should be familiar with App, Account, Database, Gesture, Media, Networking, Services activities, Widgets, Java-Util, XML/JSON Parsing
• Candidates should have worked on at least one app that required web services integration including sign-on, payments or third party APIs.
• Candidate should be able to look at an any app in the play store and tell us how the activities are structured
• Must know the technical specifications of image assets required for design integration
• Must know all aspects of Notifications and integrated with at least one backend as a service
• Knowledge of repository management using SVN, GIT
• BE/BTech/MS/MCA/MTech (CS/Electronics) or an equivalent degree is required
