Job Description We are looking for "Embedded Linux Engineer (BSP)", for our office in "Pune", to join our fast growing team of experts. To be part of this international team you will need: Responsibilities: Build and maintain of custom Linux distributions (Yocto) Re-designing and engineering as per requirements Develop low layer development (boot loader, drivers ) with strong embedded constraints Maintain Linux kernel to ensure driver and application support Design and implement security features, e.g. secure boot Test developed modules by running tests Maintenance of the delivered code Investigate defects reported by testing and perform rapid problem solving Collaborate with team colleagues locally and remotely, e.g. design new function and perform code reviews Ensure quality of implemented functionality by collaborating with the team and product owner Regular reporting of the progress to the various stakeholders involved and the project managers Requirements OS-Building with build systems (like Yocto, Buildroot, and OBS or similar) Kernel modules/Device drivers development & integration Flashing Linux images & Bring-up of platforms (embedded or ASICs) like NXP-IMX, Xilinx, Qualcomm or Renesas etc, Good to have some experience with Certificates, keys. OS-hardening You have expertise with Linux-based OS (including OS architecture, file systems, security, and containerization). AOSP framework adaptation/modifications. AOSP/Linux-user space & know - how with lxc containers. BSc/MSc Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering. Enthusiasm to work with Linux and the open-source community. Experience with SW version control in Git or similar. Fluent English Excellent teamwork capability and communication skills. Ability to work with multi-national teams. A customer-oriented mindset is a must. Good experience in Embedded C/C++ development, including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design. Modification of Linux Kernel components. Integration of boot processes. u-boot. Understanding and implementation of low-level drivers. Experience working in CI/CD environment. Experience with the agile software development cycle.
