Job Summary Surat Stage inspection of Surface preparation and coating Interaction with TPI on regular basis to conduct inspection and documentation Inter departmental interaction for various Painting QC related activities Preparation of quality documentations Coating operator qualification Preparation and establishing coating procedures Interaction with coating vendors for technical queries. Ensure compliance to HSE requirements for all personals engaged for Surface preparation & Coating activity and provide Tool box talk to work force NACE Certified Level-2 Coating Inspector Technical competencies to perform stage inspection Understanding of Codes and standard requirements (NACE/API)
  • Capable of handling large team of workmen and supervisors of coating field
  • Planning of resources (machinery, MHE, Consumables, paints, etc.), manpower (Blaster, painter, rigger, scaffolder), Auto blast machine resources etc. for coating work
  • Co-ordination with purchase for purchasing of paints, consumables and abrasive and prepare schedule for same.
  • Monitor & report productivity of each operation and meet the budget manhours
  • Monitor and report utilization of resources, paint consumption etc.
  • Prepare project specific painting procedure based on the client specificationand finalize paint brands
  • Co-ordinate with paint supplier for deputation of coating advisor at site, paint schedule, maintain inventory and technical issue resolution
  • Input to marketing team for cost estimation of coating work and proactively raise TQ for deviation
  • Co-ordinate wit TPI/Client for inspection of coating work, responsible for coating inspection and report preparation
    • Planning and calibration of coating inspectioninstruments
    Qualification :
    Diploma - Mechanical
    Experience Required :

    10 to 15 Years
