Job Summary
Thoroughly conversant with selection of rotating machinery viz. Compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers and fans
Function as Area Engineer for assigned projects in the engineering of rotating machinery Ensure quality and timelines for deliverables
Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface during the design development
Support/ implement departmental quality management programs
Provide technical guidance to task force members Interface engineering for rotating equipment with all other disciplines
Bring-in improvement in the engineering systems and alternatives through value engineering Commissioning of rotary equipment systems Trouble-shoot and resolve site problems
Familiar with API Standards for respective machinery and also familiar with material standards and specifications as well as the requirements of ASME and HIS Shared Cross-functionally
Experience in preparation of mechanical data sheets and specifications for rotating equipment mentioned above.
Experienced in vendor offer evaluation, preparation of TBA and review vendor drawings / calculations.
Experience in engineering of Petrochemical / Oil & Gas projects.
Exposure to commissioning and field trouble shooting of Rotating machinery.
Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. - Mechanical
