Required Skill Set

• Proficiency in the front-end technologies, such as
  • HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • AJAX, jQuery
  • Saas or Less
  • Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks
  • Node.js, Grunt, npm
• Proficiency in the back-end technologies, such as
  • MVC frameworks like Ruby or rails, Express.js, Django, Flask
  • REST API design and development
  • Node.js, Apache, Nginx, J2EE
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB
• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages. Javascript is a must! Python, Java, are also preferred. PHP and Ruby are a plus.
• Strong fundamentals on HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP headers, server state and sessions, caching and nuances of the modern web browsers.
• Strong fundamentals on performance engineering and scaling the server infrastructure for high throughput.
• Sound knowledge of web application security aspects.
• Experience in working with Linux-based Environments.
• Good communication skills.

Desired Skill Set

• Good knowledge of modern front-end technologies, such as HTML 5, CSS 3, WebRTC.
• Good knowledge of React JS.
• Some knowledge of content management systems, such as Drupal, WordPress or Joomla. Experience with headless CMS systems such as Contentful is a plus!
• Understanding of the cloud computing concepts, and experience in one of the providers such as AWS or Azure.
• Should have been a part of an agile team using standard CI/CD practices.
• Should have been a part of significant end-to-end product deliveries.
• Awareness about responsive design and UX for multiple devices, browsers and form factors.
