System Administrator

System administratorsinstall, configure, and maintain various types of hardware and software on servers as well as cloud (DO, AWS, CGP, Contabo), which often involves creating CI/CD pipelines, containers, user accounts, carrying out backup and recovery functions, and monitoring the performance of servers. They need to configure, manage, and implement operating systems and layers above.

System administrator will be responsible for resolving problems and issues with the system to ensure undisrupted work in the Organization.

Skills & Experience

. BE/B.Tech (E&Ec/Comp Sc./IT, Electrical)

Minimum 2 years of proven experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.

Keeps himself updated with best practices in system security and administration.

Ability to work unassisted.

Can plan, manage, and deliver ad hoc project work on time.

. Good Command over Linux operating system.

Good to have: Communication skills, Time management skills, Cloud management skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining desktops, networks, servers & Cloud Infrastructure.

Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software when required.

Implementation of security protocols and procedures.

Creating user accounts and performing access control.

Running diagnostic test and debugging to maintain system efficiency.

Creating backups and archiving data.

Handling data retrieval and data recovery procedures.

Developing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting system.

Provides IT support.
