Job Summary

Position Summary:

Knoldus is looking for a Lead Scala Engineer who is passionate about solving real world business problems to join our team. You will be a key member involved with design discussions, lead, and deliver enterprise-class projects using Agile Methodology. You will have the opportunity to stay at the forefront of technology and apply a principled approach to software engineering, as well as having the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting projects with our partners using Java, Scala, Spring, Multithreading, Microservices, etc.


You will:

  • Performing requirement analysis.
  • Developing high-quality and detailed designs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of dynamic developers
  • Setup and adherence to the quality process defined for the project.
  • Continuous updation of technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, accessing new applications, and investigating new technologies
  • Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team lead, or individually, to meet the needs of the project


    • You are

  • 8 years or more professional experience building and leading Enterprise applications using Java and Scala.
  • Demonstrable leading experience and fluency with JAVA and SCALA.
  • Hands-on experience of multi-tier architecture, Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with event driven frameworks.
  • Experience with container orchestration system Kubernetes and docker.

    • You Have:

  • Experience in cloud technologies GCP/AWS/Azureis highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent analysis, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Spark/Scala/Play framework will be an added advantage
  • Previous experience with customer-facing roles on professional services engagements.
  • Experience with Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns, including file transfers, messaging, routing, transforming, enriching, etc.
  • Experience with agile development methodology such as SCRUM or Kanban.
