Job Summary
Spearhead a group of Scala developers and provide technical leadership. Responsible for hiring, managing and career progression and P&L of the 40+ team members. Participate in Technical solutioning, resource identification, planning and training team for new oppurtunities. Lead and mentor a team of dynamic developers Setup and adherence to the quality process defined for the project. Continuous updation of technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, accessing new applications, and investigating new technologies Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team lead, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
15 years or more professional experience building and leading Enterprise applications using Java and Scala. Demonstrable leading experience and fluency with JAVA and SCALA. Hands-on experience in Team management, Customer satisfaction and Technical Leadership. Hands-on experience of multi-tier architecture, Microservices architecture. Experience with event driven frameworks. Experience with container orchestration system Kubernetes and docker. Experience in cloud technologiesGCP/AWS/Azureis highly preferred. Excellent communication skills and team management skills Problem-solving aptitude Excellent analysis, consulting, and mentoring skills. Knowledge of Spark/Scala/Play framework will be an added advantage Previous experience with customer-facing roles on professional services engagements. Experience with Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns, including file transfers, messaging, routing, transforming, enriching, etc. Experience with agile development methodology such as SCRUM or Kanban.
