Job Summary

Job Description

KMK is currently seeking a strategic and analytical self-starter with a background in SEO and PPC to define and execute a search strategy for our company and to improve our visibility in organic search results and social media channels. The main goal of the SEO Marketing Analyst is to improve organic traffic, provide content recommendations, and share best practices for our digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to digest disparate datasets and visualize key trends or takeaways from this information
  • Connect traffic to revenue by working with marketing team to build funnel models that measure the impact of our combined SEO and content efforts
  • Set up and monitor keyword tracking to find opportunities and measure performance
  • Assist with monthly and ad hoc reporting to leadership
  • Establish frameworks for measuring the efficacy of our social, blog, and site content and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Ability to explain why and when certain search results appear for various queries
  • Run tests on KMK website to generate findings our team can apply to improve conversion, time on page, and general user experience
  • Analyze competitor websites and pages to assess competitive gaps and recommend actions to help our clients be more successful in search
  • Keep up to date with new trends and best SEO practice

Google Ads / PPC Campaign Management

  • Posess expertise in optimization recommendations, including structure and targeting improvements, bid types, keyword expansion, and creative testing.
  • Monitor auction insights, campaign performance, and consumer behavior to analyze data and draw actionable insights that can be leveraged across all digital channels.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance, optimize, measure, and report against organizational goals.

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in SEO
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic self-starter, thrives in fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of social media, mobile, and search engine marketing (SEM)

Proficient with:

  • Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Keyword research tools: AdWords Keyword Planner, Google Trends
  • Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)
  • Google Ads, PPC Campaigns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
