Job Summary

Key Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in the similar role.
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
  • Good understanding of procurement principles.
  • Good working knowledge of computer skills e.g. MS Office application, Familiarity with SAP preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To maintain Purchase Orders and Supply requisitons with current vendors.
  • To maintain detailed procurement files and track all purchasing activity
  • To maintain detailed records and inventory lists of goods received
  • To maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
  • To effectively maintain open communication with vendors and suppliers
  • To follow up on orders from shipping to receiving
  • To work with the accounts team for the cheques and payments need to made to the vendors and suppliers.
  • To visits to the vendors for the purchasing of machinery parts or necessary items as and when required.
  • To ensure that all bills aust be duly signed by the authorized signatory.
  • To perform the other tasks as needed and requested by the Purchase Manager or Senior Authorities.

Qualification BBA/ MBA
