Your Responsibilities

  • Train new system users and support the Finance Business System Manager in continual improvements to training program
  • Assist the wider finance teams in understanding the most efficient use of the system for all reporting purposes and balance sheet reconciliations. This should include becoming an expert user in Smart View.
  • Owner of the chart of accounts Fusion and FCCS
  • Owner of the project and cost centre listing Fusion and FCCS
  • Work with the Technology team and our consultants to consistently drive off-the-shelf and best practice use of the system for maintaining our records and reporting.
  • Key contact for finance teams in addressing system issues, working closely with technology team.
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running ad hoc reports and posting as required.
  • Requirements related to Source information and review of output of customized reports
  • Update Suppliers details whenever required
  • Support creation of Supplier Site, Customer account whenever required

Fusion Global Roll out and Transformation


  • Support the technology team in providing additional training as required and demonstrate best practice
  • Understand and challenge in design inconsistencies through the transformation project
  • Develop champion knowledge of the key finance modules
  • Support in testing new processes and system amendments
  • Update configuration related templates if required

Month-end

  • Lead the sub-ledger and general ledger close for all fusion entities. This includes final closure of the GL and running validation reports
  • Supports teams with validation issues for sub-ledger and GL close working alongside the technology service desk
  • Open GL for the next month
  • Facilitates the late adjustment process
  • Maintain FX rates in Fusion and FCCS
  • Check that all Fusion revaluations are run correctly and on time. Ensure that revaluation rules are being used correctly and simplify where possible.
  • Schedule various processes (as required) for all entities under the group
  • Review updates to Bank s and Branches in the system


Adhoc

Assist with special projects as they arise to ensure that Oracle is designed and used in the most efficient manner


Areas of responsibilities: Global ERP supporting corporate and BU teams as required.


Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:


Qualification & Certification-

University degree

Professional qualification from relevant Accounting body

Oracle certification desirable

Hyperion/FCCS experience is beneficial

2 years of experience in similar role


Skill Requirement

Involvement in a global ERP roll out for a large international group

Confidence to work with multiple functions across the group e.g. Procurement and Technology


Communication

Excels at communicating with the wider team and can deliver training sessions successfully.
