Responsibilities

  • Drafting easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, developer guides, articles, and coding related technical content
  • Creating tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Producing high-quality documentation manuals appropriate for its intended audience meeting organizational standards
  • Working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
  • Gathering information from subject matter experts independently to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • 2-4 years industry experience as an effective technical writer
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural manuals for multiple audience
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text
