Position Overview We are hiring Mechanical Engineers who would be engaged in building cutting-edge robotics products. You will be a part of the Mechanical Design team that is fast paced, research oriented and is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and developing cutting edge products. Key Responsibilities: Understanding the product requirements Designing and developing assemblies using softwares like SolidWorks, Creo, etc. To carry out detailed mechanical design work including simulation and design verification testing. Undertaking rigorous R&D to improve the product for its performance, efficiency, safety, and convenience Should have knowledge of Part Modelling, Assembly Designing, Kinematics, Simulation, etc. Create and maintain documentation Should have hands on experience in the areas of Manufacturing process, Sourcing, Machining, Selection of material and its related mechanical properties. Vendor Development according to the project requirements like CNC / VMC cutting, Laserjet cutting, Waterjet cutting, etc. Dealing and coordinating with vendors for sourcing components and manufacturing / processing the materials to products Skills Expert in using CAD software tools like Solidworks Strong knowledge of designing, various Manufacturing Processes and GD&T Experience in performing Structural analysis, Multibody dynamics through various tools like Ansys Experience in creating various product documentations like BoMs, Release Notes, etc., Past Robots building experience Mass Production Design experience Startup work experience Innovative design thinking Other skills Sense of ownership and pride about the tasks Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills
