Position Overview:
The position of Project Officer - Campaign is designed to lead Campaign activity, support them in developing and implementing plans as per the requirements of a project and ensure reporting of your work as appropriate.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To support in designing work plan and activities for agreed campaign strategy and ensure overall implementation of work plan
To oversee collection of data and preparation of project/ progress reports in accordance with available schedule
Preparation of reports as per schedule
Conduct weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly meetings with staff, seek and apply inputs from the staff for effective programme implementation
Ensure that campaign project activities are carried out within the agreed budget
Undertake field visits to oversee implementation of agreed action plan and effectiveness of the field staff
Administrative
Maintain separate files for each project
Maintain records of all project related correspondence
Perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications
Graduate, or equivalent standard of education essential - in relevant discipline from institute/university of repute preferably covering social work as a theme of study
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in child welfare, and/or Community development with at least 2 years in people management role
Professional experience of directing and managing programs at regional/national level
Project Start-up experience is desired
Experience of conceptualizing and managing national and/or global events
Skill & Competencies:
Committed to the cause of the organization
Language Requirements; Working command over local language of States where the positions are based and English
Strong time management skills to meet changing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Awareness of and sensitivity to the multi-cultural environment in which the campaign operates.
