Job Summary
Handle monthly payroll for the organization. Coordinate with payroll vendors for regular updates and formulation. Maintain and update data quality in HRIS, including employees life cycle changes in HRIS and the internal ERP system. PF, ESIC, PT calculation challan generation, and remittance. Make sure the organization complies with all state labour laws. Liaise with various departments and authorities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual returns as applicable under statutory compliance. Conduct audits as per state acts and publish the compliance report. Prepare statutory registers statewide under all applicable labour laws. Apply licenses under the Labour Act across India like Shop Registration, Trade License, CLRA License, 365 days working exemption certificate, maintaining records in electronic format exemption certificate, women working in shift exemption certificates, etc. Ensure the inputs reach the manager on time in the form of MIS. Coordinate with employees and insurance brokers for mediclaim and maintain the MIS tracker of Claims (cashless & reimbursements), Nomination (addition / deletion), Mediclaim cards, etc. Process Employee PF, ESI, Mediclaim & other employment registration forms. Prepare salary revision letters, termination letters, transfer letters, and confirmation letters. Monitor relieving procedures and settlements and general administration-related work and employee coordination. Process the Full and Final Settlement for exit cases. Respond to employee queries and grievances over the phone, via email and in meetings with employees. Provide on-job training on compliance activities and share knowledge with the team.
As our Assistant Manage HR Payroll and Statutory Compliance, you will be part of our highly motivated HR team and handle the companys payroll process. You will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of all statutory laws applying to Indian Payroll.

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in Statutory Compliance and HR Operations.
- Good knowledge of and experience in Labour Laws: Provident Fund Act, ESI Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Maternity Act, Bonus Act, Shop Act, Factories Act, Employment Exchange Act, Contract Labour Act , Payment of Gratuity Act, etc.
- At least a bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- An eye for detail and good analytical ability.
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and G-Suite.
