Job Summary

Account Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish chart of accounts, define and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles in the organization.
  • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing periodic budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Support in development and ensure implementation of Accounting software suitable for the organization.
  • Improve and create efficiencies in the system and processes on regular basis.
  • Ensure timely reconciliations of Vendor, Customer and bank accounts.
  • Assigning projects and directstaffto ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Liaise and consult with internal/external auditors to resolve issues faced/ complex accounting transactions.
  • Initiate corrective actions immediately for any deficiencies identified or notified.
  • Prepare Financial statements and ensure the same reflect true picture of the affairs of the organization.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits under different laws as applicable.
  • Protects organization s interests by keeping information secure and confidential.

Desired Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of applicable laws, accounting standards and practices.
  • Complete understanding of Accounting ERPs and MS office suite applications.
  • logical reasoning and balanced decision making ability.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to direct and supervise subordinates.

Qualification | Experience:

  • Post graduate/ professional degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CA/ CMA/ MBA in Finance preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience with at least 4 years of team managing experience.
  • Proficient in English.
