Job Summary
Work as a technical member of a team responsible for building a highly scalable & secure professional online marketplace for Senior care in accordance with the established processes.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following .
You will be expected to:

  • Contribute to all phases in the software lifecycle requirements analysis, solution design, development, and deployment.
  • Ensure assigned projects are developed in accordance with established engineering processes, adhering to scope, schedule constraints and agile project plans.
  • Guide/mentor the less experienced team members.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Document and test the features worked by him/her.

Requirements

Must have skills:
  • Strong programming skills in PHP, Wordpress
  • Excellent working knowledge of Wordpress Themes, Site & Plugin Integration
  • Hands on experience with HTML, CSS
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Good Understanding of RDBMS & NoSQL Databases and proficiency in SQL Queries, fine tuning performance, monitoring etc.
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly
  • Experience with distributed systems and test driven development
Additional areas that would add value:

  • Experience in JQuery, Javascript
  • Experience with modern cloud technologies such as AWS
  • Experience working with Linux and Shell scripting
  • Automated Unit/Integration testing
  • Modern Development tooling including Git, Git CI-CD, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies
