In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.


Job Description:

  • Preparation/ Checking of drawings and documentation as directed by Group Manager, the Lead Engineer, or Engineers.
  • Correct the drawings based on check prints prior to submission to the Lead Engineer or Engineer for approval.
  • Apply his / her technical knowledge to ensure that a consistently high standard is maintained.
  • Ensure that all work follows Company Standards or standards specified in Co- ordination Procedure.
  • He / She may be deputed to site to carry out modifications in drawings to produce As Built drawings or prepare the drawings of the plant as constructed.
  • In addition, carry out such tasks from time to time as directed by his / her seniors commensurate with the work expected of his / her position.
  • Adherence to Dept./Group working Instruction and QMs Manual.
  • Ensuring he / she is updated as per the latest software knowledge and if required, train others for the same.
  • Well Versed in AutoCAD, Smart Plant P&ID, P3D P&ID and other Smart tools as applicable.

Here's what you'll need

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Diploma with 9-15 years of Experience in Smart Plant P&IDs
  • Proficient in Process design-based software such Smart Plant, AutoCAD, MicroStation.
  • Strong Technical Skills in knowing Process Design.
  • Should be able to understand mark-ups on P&IDs / PFDs.
  • Should have good knowledge about legends, Symbols, Library in Smart Plant & AutoCAD.
