izmo Ltd. requires a talented and experienced PHP developer in Bangalore.

Job Description & Duties:
  • Understand and shape product functionality by providing very deep technology focused insights
  • Own/maintain code everything from design, development to bug fixing
  • Focus on clean high-quality code
  • Facilitate problem diagnosis and resolution for issues reported by Customers
  • Deliver to schedule and timelines based on an Agile/Scrum based approach
  • Must be able to independently design code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
  • Meet and exceed individual business development and sales quotas/span>
  • Write and execute unit tests cases for the developed functionalities
    Mandatory / Primary Skills:
    • MCA / MS / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other degree
    • 4 - 5+ years of experience in software development
    • Involvement in Design & Development and various stages of agile software development process, in Open source technologies ( PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript )
    • Experience in PHP framework is mandatory(Symfony, Zend, CakePHP, Codeigniter)
    • Knowledge on WEB Servers Apache, NginX.
    • Experience in PHP ORM framework is mandatory(Doctrine ORM)
    • Experience in JavaScript framework is mandatory(JQuery, Node.js, BackboneJS + Chaplin, RequireJS (AMD))
    • Experience in cache framework is mandatory(OPCache, Alternative PHP Cache)
    • Strong in Object Oriented Concepts
    • Working knowledge on complex SQL queries , Stored procedures, Triggers
    • Substantial knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
    • To be able to communicate effectively
    Desired Characteristics:
    • Execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large web based projects
    • Experience with writing end to end web applications or components and addressing application-wide issues such as performance, security, concurrency, transaction management, session management, caching, validation
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
    • Passion to learn new technologies as needed
    • Working knowledge of PHPUnit
    • SOAP/REST Web Services
