BMC TrueSight Consultant :
Position Overview:
Software Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and providing resolution for BMC BPPM/TrueSight system. He/She will ensure that BMC BPPM/TrueSight systems are correctly monitored, maintained, and accessed to ensure accurate high availability for end-users.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
Provide L2/L3 operational support on BPPM/TrueSight, BMC Server Automation, as per agreed SLAs
Experience in L3 Support, Administration and Development is essential.
Maintain BPPM/TruesSight platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
Develop new customizations, integrations, and reports
Troubleshoot BPPM/TrueSight application, customizations, integration issues.
Follow the ITIL standard best processes.
Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
Assist customer drive adoption of the monitoring solution across the environments
Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor s Degree.
Should have worked in Managed Services environment
Strong knowledge and experience of MRL Development
Experience on UNIX/LINUX operating system and ITIL framework is an advantage.
Good knowledge of networking and database concepts
Excellent in troubleshooting BPPM/TrueSight applications, integrations, customizations.
Well organized with a positive attitude, and ability to work and communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
Should be customer facing.
Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
