Job Summary

Responsiblities: Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement events strategy aligned with company objectives Manage multiple in-person, online, and membership events/podcasts Manager our own TLV Podcast, sourcing and securing high-profile guest speakers Liaise with stakeholders to understand event briefs and objectives Take end-to-end ownership of event planning and management Ensure events are planned and executed within budget Find and book suitable event venues, contractors, and suppliers Ensure strict legal compliance for all events Attend events, manage on-site team, and exceed event brief expectations Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager for event marketing and promotions Evaluate event performance and generate reports Create event proposals and present them within deadlines Maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and stakeholders Plan event aspects such as venue, seating, dining, and guest list Delegate event planning tasks when necessary Coordinate event entertainment and guest speakers Issue invoices, collect payments, and create comprehensive reports Manage and oversee events on the day, including problem-solving and vendor coordination Collaborate with marketing team to create effective advertisements and marketing materials Anticipate and plan for different event scenarios Generate sales opportunities during client liaisons and events Plan multiple events simultaneously Contribute to creative ideas and proposals for clients Maintain a clear and consistent tone of voice Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams Plan pre and post-event details meticulously. Requirements: Knowledge and Skills Requirements Have an excellent understanding of the UK B2B events landscape Proven results in planning or leading successful and profitable events Experience in negotiating deals with suppliers and contractors Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills a true people person happy to talk to anyone and everyone Strong multi-tasker with experience of juggling numerous projects and deadlines Self-starter, able to work autonomously and as part of a busy team Competent in Microsoft office and outlook (word, PowerPoint, excel is a must) Strong copywriting skills i.e. competent in writing, grammar and editing skills in English First-class organisational and administrative skills, multi-tasking - the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines Excellent time-management skills Excellent attention to detail in copy and creative Happy in a quickfire work environment where internal/external requests can demand a flexible approach to daily routine Can work to multiple deadlines and in a pressured environment Willingness to travel and attend events Willing to work outside of core hours when required Marketing Knowledge/proven work experience as an Events Manager (or similar role) Experience using social media for business Confident presentation skills and speaking skills Planning Experience Strong Client-Facing Skills Vendor and Entertainment Research Thorough understanding of managing hybrid events to cover UK, North America, EMEA and APAC industries. Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress is a plus.
