Job Description: Staff BI Engineer iQuanti The Product development team is seeking a Staff Engineer in BI Report Development to lead our Report development discipline and drive the expansion of our next-generation data and analytics platforms. The challenge: As Our Product business grows, we will have more data from multiple data providers and clients. We need a Staff Engineer who understands how to build a data visualization platform that unlocks our data's value and enables the team to implement the next generation of data visualization and insights. We currently have ~600 TBs of data and expect our data to grow in Petabytes soon as we hit to market rapidly. We wish you to contribute to a role to design, and develop reports at the enterprise level on the existing AWS Data lake, build 1000's cutting edge reports with faster performance, and work with our Data Engineering team to implement the next generation of the data visualization system. A few more things about us: As a Product Engineering team, we are ~35 innovative and brilliant engineers who focus on building data-driven Products on Big data technology stack. We love to do development in an Agile way, and Our team includes Product Managers, Scrum masters, full-stack Engineers, Data engineers, BI Report engineers, and data scientists. It would help if you had a strong understanding of Reporting platform development using Power-BI and Tableau. In that case, you may be a perfect fit for this role. Key duties: BI Report Development Participate in business requirements and design review sessions and work directly with product owners, UX lead, and data engineer to develop Power BI OR Tableau reports. Interact with the Data Engineering team to design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) on existing AWS data lake and cloud data warehouse. Deploy and integrate reports using a CI/CD system on Microsoft Azure and Tableau Cloud. Develop and implement best practices, standards, and procedures for the BI team. Understand end-to-end features and help the QA team construct automated/manual test strategies using industry best practices. Skill Requirements: At least Six years of relevant software development experience; at least four years of Report development using PowerBI OR Tableau. Ability to plan, Develop, and Quality output with a substantial degree of predictability In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Knowledge of cloud systems like AWS and, Azure, Tableau. Well-experienced with Agile development methodologies Desired profile: Overall, 6+ Years of experience. B.E/B.Tech High Ownership, Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
