Should have subject knowledge and experience in psychometric tests like DMIT, and RAISEC Model, trained and certified in using various assessment tests for students. You'll also have the chance to work one-on-one with product and marketing, along with. It is a crucial position and will give the candidate a pivotal position in the company to help formulate the business to scale. Career Assessment: Independently administer psychometric tests and other assessment tools to evaluate students' aptitudes, interests, and personality traits. Conduct individual academic analysis to understand students' performance and identify areas of strength and improvement. Admissions Counseling: Guide students through the admissions process for higher education institutions in India and abroad. Provide information on admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines. Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to children and parents addressing their concerns, goals, and aspirations. Independently interpret assessment results and collaborate with students to explore potential career paths based on their unique profile. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in career counseling, educational pathways and study abroad markets in USA, Europe, Canada, Australia and APAC. Engage in continuous learning to enhance counseling skills and stay informed about evolving career options. Participate in regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, counselling skills, and closure skills. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and student progress. Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to parents, teachers, and relevant stakeholders. Conduct thorough profiling and record student interactions and sales activities in the CRM system through detailed comments. Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and educational programs to address inquiries and concerns. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets, demonstrating consistent performance and contribution to team goals. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with parents and mentors to share insights on students' career inclinations and provide individualized recommendations for educational and career pathways.
What you will need to have
Our ideal candidates must possess subject expertise, appropriate pedagogical skills, effective communication skills, cultural sensitivity, willingness to collaborate and should also be proficient in educational technology.Qualities such as empathy, patience, compassion and empowerment are valued, as positive relationship with the students is essence of our approach.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education,Study abroad counsellor,college admission expert or a related field. Career Assessment certification from an accredited program.
Proven experience of minimum 3-5 years in career counseling or education management industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing a high volume of client interactions.
Commitment to ethical counseling practices and maintaining confidentiality.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work collaboratively in a team environment.
