Intro: As an Ansible Developer, you will be a vital part of our security platform operations team, responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automation scripts. Your technical proficiency in Ansible, automation, API integration, and Python scripting will enable us to automate security processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver a consistent security experience to all business units. Some of the things you ll be doing: Work closely with business units to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Lead implementation of the solution from establishing project requirements and goals to solution go-live. Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for security processes and workflows. Able to identify problem scope through proper triage and troubleshooting and develop automation . Manage, operate, and engineer security tools, optimizing their performance, availability, and reliability to strengthen the overall security posture. Automate security operations tasks to enhance security processes, operational efficiency, and response times. Collaborate with security teams and other Business units to ensure seamless integration of security tools and processes into the platform. Stay informed about emerging security threats, industry best practices, and API development trends to drive continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership on API-related security matters during cross-functional projects and initiatives. Work with new integrations & features across key shared services like logging, metrics, & TLS certificates Deliver training and mentorship to internal teams on API usage, security guidelines, effective tool management, Ansible automation, and engineering practices. What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience (3-5+ years) with Ansible Tower / AAP or Ansible Automation experience. Proven experience in developing Ansible playbooks. Strong technical background in security concepts, Rest API, Python scripting, automation methodologies, and engineering principles. Familiarity with security protocols, encryption standards, ITIL practices, and best practices for API communication. Proficiency in integrating with applications like ServiceNow or similar platforms. Professional certifications such as CISSP, API-specific certifications, Ansible certifications, or relevant security tool certifications are advantageous. Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to excel in a dynamic environment. Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse business units and cross-functional teams.
