Job Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities would include performing prior art patent searches on various patent databases, analyzing and developing inventive concepts to enhance patent ability of the inventions, and drafting patent applications.
As a patent engineer, you would be actively involved in analyzing inventions in different technologies and fields of engineering such as software, computer science, electronics & communication, telecommunication, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, semiconductors, etc., and other fields such as business methods
Carrying out patent searches on various data bases, with project like patentability, invalidation, infringement, landscape, state of Art & FTO?s
Technical analysis of Patents, application and other technical documents. Preparation of potential infringing product list.
Preparation of claim charts for patent infringements. Market sales report for patent technology.
