Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in compliance with Accounting Standards and IND-AS.
- Ensure adherence to the latest Income Tax Laws, ICFR Standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and internal control purposes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
SAP Integration and Management:
- Utilize SAP or other accounting software to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Train and guide team members on SAP functionalities and best practices.
- Financial Analysis and Advisory:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support business growth and expansion plans.
Taxation and Statutory Compliance:
- Handle all direct and indirect tax-related matters, including filing of tax returns and responding to tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors for tax audits.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
- Coordinate with other departments to promote cross-functional collaboration and achieve common business goals.
Management Reporting and Presentations:
- Prepare insightful management reports and presentations to communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Assist senior management in presenting financial results and projections to the Board and investors.
Requirements:
Education and Certifications.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Additional qualification of CS/CMA/CFA will be preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience as a Chartered Accountant.
- Prior experience in finance roles in manufacturing and SAAS companies is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modelling.
Communication and Presentation:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information concisely.
- Demonstrated experience in creating compelling presentations for senior management.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Sharp analytical skills to identify financial trends, patterns, and potential issues.
- Solution-oriented mindset to address challenges and improve financial processes.
