Institutional Shareholder Services is seeking a Senior Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join the Matrix and Rainmaker teams in Mumbai. We have a hybrid remote/in-office work model.
Overview:
The Scrum Master drives Agile and Lean frameworks that result in quality Product Delivery and empowered Scrum Teams. Our teams are at various stages of Agile and scrum adoption, from novice to mature, offering opportunities to grow your skills in different levels of team adoption. You will join a fantastic team of scrum masters who form a supportive and cohesive team.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies across scrum team(s).
Positive servant-leadership within your team(s), department and the organization.
Foster an environment of trust that allows for open dialogue and effective solutions.
Review and analyze metrics with the team(s).
Promote continuous improvement.
Guide team(s) to self-management and ownership of their process.
Champion Quality within your team(s).
Collaborate with Product Owner(s) and team on product roadmaps and the backlog.
Facilitate teams project and quarterly planning and commitment.
Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team.
Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instill the same in your team(s).
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
8-12 years experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager, or similar.
OR 8-12 years experience in software development (Dev, QA, PJM) including 5 years experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager, or similar.
Scrum Master and/or Coaching certification(s) and/or skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to flex communication for difference audiences.
Data-driven and detail-oriented.
Skilled at removing business and technical impediments.
Familiarity using JIRA/Atlassian tools on a software development project.
Possess an executive presence and ability to coach multiple teams across the firm.
Experience scaling Agile across dependent teams is preferred.
Jira workflow & administration is preferred.
Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar in DevOps team(s) is preferred.
5+ years of financial services industry experience is preferred.
