Role: Technical Support Consultant (Cloud & Infrastructure)

Location: Pune

We are looking for a Technical Support Consultant, to focus specifically on supporting Instems applications over the Cloud. The role is not confined to pure support, you will also ensure our applications our running 24/7 (via global support team), maintain windows servers and assist in cloud solution design.

In this role you will be our primary person for answering client support requests from customers, as well as dealing daily with our datacentre support 3rd party. There will be the occasional weekend / out of hours work needed, however we offer a great flexi time benefit to fully support your work life balance.

Responsibilities include;

= Respond to and log support calls with our datacentre partner

= Provide advice and assistance relating to the host products and services

= Report back to customers on progress and resolutions

= Provide support and advice to customers

= Offer technical advice / solution design to the Hosting Manager

= Adherence to our Quality Management system to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently.

Essential Skills required;

= Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking to clients and 3rd party suppliers

= Server Technology Management tools exposure, such as Active Directory, User Creation, User Management, Back Ups, Desk/Storage related technology, Server Performance)

= Good understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP-IP)

Desirable Skills;

= Commercial exposure of cloud technologies such as Citrix, Microsoft Azure & Oracle

= Exposure to VPN s and Firewalls in networking concepts

= A Tech Support background where you are used to customer interaction and documentation around ticketing systems.
