Senior Database Administrator Job in Inspirisys Solution Limited

Requirements / Responsibilities:

• Should have minimum 5+ years of experience with extensive knowledge of oracle Database
• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support and ready to work in shifts
• Administering Oracle 9i, 10g, 11gr2 and 12cR2 databases.
• Database creation using SQLPLUS, DBCA and Database cloning using logical backup as well as RMAN
• Planning to database backup strategies and their implementation.
• Ensure Uptime of managed Databases as per SLA and working on hot/cold, RMAN backups
• Restore and recovery tasks of database backups
• Database version upgradations from 10g/11gR2 to 12cR2.
• Generating and analyzing AWR (Automatic Workflow Repository) reports.
• Solving the space related problems in Database Tables.
• should have knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture and Data Guard
• Managing Data Files and Table space related issues
• Should have knowledge in Cloning of Databases, Hot Backup, Cold Backup, Database connectivity, security and user privileges
• Migration/Up gradation of databases from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.06 and 9.2.0.8.and 10g or 11gR2 and 12cR2
• Troubleshooting ORA errors encountered in the alert logs.
• Installed and Configured Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, ASM on Linux, Sun-Solaris and Windows OS Platform.
• Installed and Configured oracle 11g r2 on Solaris system and Cluster level Patch apply
• Hands on experience in new installation of Data base in Solaris OS environment and Linux, related to prerequisites
• Oracle Web logic 11gr1 installation configuration and web logic cluster configurations
• Conversion knowledge of Oracle database10g, 11gR2 from windows to Linux, Linux to Solaris using RMAN command
• Oracle database 10gr2, 11gr2 convert cluster to non-cluster and non cluster to cluster
• Knowledge to work in OS platforms like Solaris, Linux, IBM Aix, HP-ux, windows
• Publishing Different Applications and Printers on the Citrix Users Profile
• Deploying ICA client, printer driver mapping,
• Shadowing users, checking sessions, managing server load and CPU utilization.
• Logging into the Server through Remote Desktop and resolving the Issue.
• Review the Event Logs for Errors and troubleshoot accordingly.
• Test and deploy OS & Citrix hot fixes, firmware updates
• Schedule the activities e.g. Backup and Weekly server reboots etc.
