Job Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our Talend ETL development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on data integration and ETL processes using Talend. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all Talend ETL projects within the organization. Key responsibilities include: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and business requirements. Efficiently allocate resources, including Talend developers, data engineers, and other team members, to meet project deliverables within specified timelines. Identify potential risks and challenges in the project and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and address risks to minimize their impact on project success. Oversee and coordinate project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or roadblocks that arise during the development process. Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members to ensure optimal performance. Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards in Talend ETL development. Implement thorough testing and validation processes to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, design, and testing documentation. Ensure all project artifacts are up-to-date and well-organized. Manage project scope and change requests effectively, evaluating the impact on timelines, resources, and deliverables. Ensure proper documentation and approval for any project changes. Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and address any deviations from the project plan. Provide project status reports to management and stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of IT Project Management experience, especially working on full-scale implementations of Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions Proven experience in project management, specifically in Talend ETL development projects. Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in Talend ETL toolset and other relevant technologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
