Job Overview

The Software Engineer will be responsible for Automation testing. Candidate must be able to create and execute test plans, test cases based upon functional and product design specifications and report results as per standard policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

6-8 years of experience in the field of QA and along with the following requirements

• Strong understanding of Software quality testing and Software development cycle
• Hands-on experience in building test suites and test scripts using Python, Selenium, Pytest
• Experience with working and building automation frameworks
• Experience testing service architecture based components using HTTP REST APIs
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Hudson, or any other CI systems. Knowledge of virtualisation and experience in dealing with Xen, VMware etc.
• Experience using configuration management tools such as SCCM, BigFix, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc. a huge plus
• Extensive and in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL and HTTP is preferred
• Prior experience understanding and working with various proxies such as forward proxy, reverse proxy, etc. is a big plus
• Extensive experience with black box and white box testing methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability along with the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues with complex distributed cloud computing systems
• Ability to proactively comprehend problems and resolve them with minimal supervision
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and on Agile teams a huge plus
• Must have excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Educationl BE/B.Tech OR MCA or M.Tech

• Experience 5 to 10yrs
