Database Administrator Job in Innofied

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with database technologies MySQL and MongoDB. Experience in Oracle
  or PostgreSQL will be an added advantage.
• Possess experience with Amazon Web Services, knowledge of Google Cloud or Azure is an
  added advantage.
• Hands on experience in AWS RDS , Mongo Atlas etc service
• Proven expertise in database administration, to include a solid understanding of related
  programming languages, clustering, back-up/restore technologies, replication, and security.
• Skills to work as a Database Administrator with a DevOps mindset and skill to develop the
  automation in existing systems.
• Hands on experience in Data modelling
• Prior experience in understanding and developing automation using (Powershell scripts / Linux
  shell scripts).
• Experience in support of business intelligence solutions/applications or experience in managing large data warehouse environments.
• Hands on experience in implementing security best practices.
• Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with other DBAs and application teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving technical decisions within the team.
• Operate and enhance our large, highly-available database infrastructure, utilizing cloud
  technologies and existing infrastructure.
• Query optimization ,performance tuning of database .
• Implement security best practices
• React to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, and required changes
  to production systems.
• Closely work with Development, QA and IT Support teams to resolve bugs, issues and facilitate
  new releases.
• Take complete ownership and work as an individual contributor on development and database
  administration tasks.
• Provide DB Capacity Planning analysis, design & implement data archiving, purging solutions &
  partitioning solutions as and when required.
