The Role:
Tech Lead with hands on full stack RoR Development experience will be responsible for creating the backend & frontend for responsive web applications by applying UI & UX interactive and visual design principles. This individual should have deep experience delivering world class web apps from start to finish and maintaining bug-free releases.

Should be able to form a team, grow and groom them, work with them in high paced releases using Agile Development process. Work very closely with the Product Manager, QA and Founders in delivering high performance high quality products.

The ideal candidate should display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities and must be able to work in a varied, fast paced start-up environment. As well as, the ability to self-manage and work independently and manage the team.

What is expected from you:
Design and implementation of Responsive & PWA and the overall backend, database and frontend architecture
Interface and integrate with the RESTful APIs
Design and implementation of automation testing with good test coverage
Pixel-perfect implementation of approved user interface meeting business & functional requirements
Clean, fully optimized with defect free applications that works across all the browsers and screen sizes
Integration with analytical tools, performance benchmarking and optimization, bug tracking with defect free apps
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed, scalability and reliability
Design and implementation of continuous integration and automated deployment/release
Own the end to end delivery of the iterations from your team and error free production deployments
Mentor & lead a team of Frontend & Backend Developers

What we are looking for:
Experience with developing Modern responsive web applications
Designing the Backend, Databases(MySQL/Postgres and Redis), REST APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap 4, Material Design, UI & UX
Experience integrating third party JS libraries/components
Integrating with Backend, third party APIs and Developing UI with OAuth & JWT, Localization & I18n
Webpack packaging & deploying the SPA apps
Exposure to TDD/BDD, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and ensure the UI works across all browsers, using Testcafe, Jest, Cypress like frameworks and MiniTest, RSpec, Capybara
Experience with Turbolinks, SASS, Webpack
HTTP protocol, headers and caching
Thorough understanding of user experience and product strategy
Proficiency with Git / Version control
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
4+ years of relevant experience and self-starter and can work independently

Is a plus if:
Experience with Cloud Deployments on Kubernetes/Docker, AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean or any other leading cloud providers
Experience with Single Page Applications using MVC frameworks like Stimulus, Vue(is a plus), Angular, React
Experience with Figma or Adobe XD design creation & convert to code
Onpage SEO knowledge & implementation of the rules
Experience with Desktop applications using Electron
Experience with HTML5 local storage APIs
Experience with WebSockets & Real Time Applications
Open source contributions
Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA with Computer Science
Integration with Google JavaScript APIs(Gmail, Drive, Analytics etc)
