Job Description:
The primary role would be to project manage and support InMorphis identified pursuits. The role requires working with technical and functional teams (partners, senior staff and engagement teams) across the proposal development process. The candidate should be aware of pursuit best practices and tools and should be able to advocate and utilize them as part of the role. The role has a significant impact on the direction a proposal takes, the approach presented for initial workshops, project implementation plan and key messages being delivered and ultimately on the success of the proposal resulting in high win ratio. No two proposals are the same there are different people and issues involved every time. As a consequence, there is a high degree of original thinking, analysis and interpretation required constantly with an ongoing need for creative and innovative ideas. Proposals are always high pressure; high profile situations with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supporting business development activities to qualify business opportunities, assessing business requirements, translating business requirements into optimal solutions and providing required technical and domain expertise to ensure successful closure of business opportunities.
- Closely work with sales and business development teams in sales engagements by owning and driving the pre-sales activities including (but not limited to) engaging the customer to qualify the opportunity, develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, develop proposals (RFP/ RFI), formulate optimal solution architecture, performing proof-of-concept/ proof-of-values and prototyping based on specific customer requirements discuss implementation approaches, working closely with alliance partners, etc.
- Driving and writing proposals in a professional services/ consulting business environment including technical and commercial proposals.
- Ability to drive and formulate customized proposals, presentations developing and refining value proposition and key messages.
- Manage and take ownership of formal RFP processes conduct compliance check against the clients formal request and perform quality checks on responses developed.
- Demonstrated experience in bid planning and management programme managing and aligning pursuit activities to help ensure timely and quality delivery following war room approach
- Demonstrated ability to organize and lead project team communications, including team meetings and calls, touch points and action item follow-up.
- Track progress and ensure that contributors to the proposal development process have a clear understanding of their individual roles and of the materials required within given timeframes.
- Review completed proposal sections to ensure requirements are adequately addressed.
- Collaborate and engage with the brand and design team and be aware and supportive of the design and production process form perspective presentation and aesthetics
- Demonstrated success in preparing teams for client meetings, leading the development of presentation materials and synthesizing important issues.
- Support pursuit research and knowledge management and help ensure knowledge is distilled and leveraged for other opportunities.
Experience/ Qualifications/ Skill Sets:
- Post Graduate in Business/Sales/Marketing steams from a college or university of repute with 8 10 years of experience in a similar role for a large multinational company
- Candidates who have ability to identify, define, advocate and take to market core offerings/ initiatives in ITIL / ITSM Tool Implementation, Enterprise Service Management especially ServiceNow will be preferred.
- Experience in a professional services firm would be desirable.
- Experience in responding to RFP/RFQ/RFI, Bid Management, proposals and tenders
- Proficient in MS-Office (Word, PPT and Excel)
- Good analytical, writing and articulation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to take directions and work independently
