Job Description PHP Developer -CodeIgniter

PHP Developers are responsible for managing the back-end services and interchanging data between the server and the users. As a PHP CodeIgnitor developer, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the central database and developing all server-side logic to ensure extraordinary execution and seamless responsiveness to requests received from the front-end.

You will also be taking care of integrations with zero data loss to the front-end elements of the application built by your co-workers. Hence it is a basic necessity of understanding front-end technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To integrate the user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Building efficient PHP models which are testable and reusable.
• Solving complex problems in performance and developmental challenges.
• Data storage solution Integrations (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, to name a few)

Skills And Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks- such as CodeIgniter
• Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• High awareness of accessibility and security compliance {Depending on the specific project}
• Strong understanding of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Complete awareness of the fundamental design principles for a scalable application.
• Use of secure user authentication and authorization between multiple resources, including servers, systems, and environments.
• Various data sources and databases integration into a single system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Building database schemas to represent and support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL/No-SQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Expertise in code versioning tools, such as Git.
