ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 7+ years of Java development experience
  • Microservices development with Java packages
  • Experience with agile scrum practitioner and relevant tools
  • Multithreading, collection, design patterns, REST API development
  • J2EE, Spring frameworks (boot, cloud, security), Hibernate, Maven, JPA, JAX-RS
  • RDBMS experience for database schema design, PL/SQL , DDL, DML
  • At least one ALM tools e.g. Visual Studio Team Systems, HashiCorp tools
  • Experience with at least one queueing system such as RabbitMQ, MSMQ
  • Kubernetes experience or Netflix stack experience ( Eureka, Zuul,
  • Git, Docker, Swagger / Open API. Maven
  • Good written and verbal communication is a must
  • Preferred
  • Ability to read and understand C++ code
  • Google cloud application development including GKE, PubSub, Storage, Cloud SQL
  • Experience working in Digital banking, POS and finance domain in general
  • Responsibilities
  • Lead development team to develop Java based microservices
  • Collaborate with cloud team to get the services deployed on Google Cloud
  • Requirement clarification, development, unit testing
  • Provide technical guidance to team of 5 Java Microservices developers to perform their tasks
  • Lead Agile Scrum activities such as grooming, poker, demos, standup calls
  • Collaborate with other teams which may be co-located or in different time zone
  • Follow and guide with best practices for microservices development
  • Provide inputs to SRE team while they setup the observability of your microservices
  • Root cause analysis, bug fixing for any defects found during integration testing by QA team member
  • Ensure adherence to practices defined by Infogain as well as client
