Job Summary

Key Result Areas and Activities: Thought Leadership : Build and share experience and evidence based thought leadership in the AWS, Cloud and Big Data domain through various channels such as Yammer blogs, white papers, webinars, events, and conferences. Provide inputs on creating and enhancing enduring solutions for Practice. Solutions and Sales Support : Support pre-sales activities including conducting discovery workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, and supporting sales and marketing enablement for AWS, Cloud and Big Data related technologies. Lead the solution development for Practice. Consulting for New and Existing Clients : Provide advisory consulting to new and existing customers, support delivery hand-offs, address unmet needs, and manage client expectations for their AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies. Share and Build Expertise : Develop and share expertise in AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies and actively mine the experience and expertise in the organization for sharing across teams and clients in the firm. Lead and support the AWS Cloud COE with organized meeting cadence. Create and maintain a vibrant Cloud technology lab as a hot bed of technological innovation. Suggest ways and guide the COE as a capability hub for new technologies with due consideration of their usability. Participate and contribute in other cloud and big data center of excellences. Nurture and Grow Talent : Provide support for recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and building practice capacity in the firm in AWS, Cloud and Big Data technologies. Role Experience in data and analytics domain Experience in designing AWS cloud architecture and operationalizing solutions around monitoring, alerting, logging, etc. Working knowledge on Architecture design, Modelling, prototyping and benchmarking of DataStore/ EDW solutions Knowledge of variety of advanced architecture, tools and concepts across all layers of modern distributed technology stack covering the big data ecosystem In-depth knowledge of key AWS services for data integration, BI and processing services including but not limited to AWS EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS QuickSight, AWS Glue Catalog, AWS Lambda, AWS Kinesis Stream and AWS Kinesis Firehose Knowledge of AWS storage services such as AWS EBS, AWS S3, AWS RedShift, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Aurora, AWS ElastiCache, etc., Snowflake (good to have) Knowledge on AWS security components such as AWS IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield, HSM, etc. Knowledge on AWS monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, etc. Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop / Hive, HDFS, Spark, YARN, ZooKeeper, HBase, etc. Knowledge on Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka for Real-Time data pipeline Experience with programming languages such as Python/ Scala/ Java Experience in enabling DevOps automation for AWS with appropriate security and privacy considerations Knowledge of configuring and provisioning networks and infrastructure in cloud Expertise in designing and architecting the complex ETL solutions on cloud Knowledge of integrating Active Directory with other services Knowledge of containerization services such as Dockers and its orchestration through Kubernetes. Also knowledge on AWS ECS and EKS Proven ability to work on multiple requirements, design, and development approaches and methodologies (agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.) Experience delivering Global scale Data platforms, on Prem, Hybrid & public cloud Experience in migration of on-prem applications and data analytics workload to cloud Pre-sales experience will be an added advantage
